Refrigerators need to pay attention to the following requirements and matters when they are exported by sea:
1. Type of refrigerant: The refrigerants used in refrigerators are mainly inorganic compounds, Freon, hydrocarbons and so on. At present, the widely used refrigerants are R134a and R600a, which are not dangerous goods and can be transported by sea and air.
2. Customs supervision conditions: export refrigerators need to meet the customs supervision conditions, such as entry goods customs clearance and inspection and quarantine requirements. Refrigerators with different volumes have different commodity codes and declaration elements, such as volume, brand and model.
3. Handling precautions: the refrigerator should not be tilted more than 45 degrees during handling, and should not be inverted or placed horizontally, so as to avoid damaging the compressor or causing the refrigeration oil to flow into the refrigeration pipeline, which will affect the refrigeration effect.
4. Packaging requirements: when loading, the refrigerator should be placed in a vertical position to avoid strenuous movement, and it is best to play a fully enclosed wooden box on the basis of the original packaging to ensure safe transportation.
5. Refrigerated container transportation: for refrigerators that need refrigerated transportation, refrigerated containers can be used. Reefer containers can keep the goods at the required temperature between -30℃ and +30℃ and are equipped with cold box units to provide cooling or electricity.
6. Temperature control: Air circulation inside the reefer container is essential to keep the cargo fresh, and the temperature and humidity of the reefer container need to be adjusted according to the type of cargo.
7. Access requirements of each country: When exporting household appliances to different countries, you need to understand and comply with the access requirements and standards of each country to ensure smooth customs clearance.
